I'm going to be heading down from Vancouver. It's a bit cheaper to get off in Downtown Seattle than go all the way to the airport. Would it be better to get off in Downtown Seattle and then take the light rail to Seatac? Where is the light rail line in DT going to Seatac? DT for me would be where Westin and Macy is.
Go to Westlake Center (smaller shopping center...across the street from Macy's, one block from the Westin). Go inside, follow signs to the bus tunnel (there's a Westlake Center stop). Purchase the one-way ticket for $2.50 (and make sure you do that, they regularly check for tickets) at the kiosk before getting on board and you'll be set.
