Hey All,

I have been shopping for a ticket to ORD-PHX, and I have looked everywhere. I looked on kayak, ua.com, cont.com, usair.com, other booking sites, I even checked flights out of MKE, and I found something interesting.

Since all 3 airlines are in the Star Alliance, and they are some of the top airlines in the nation, shouldnt they have competitive prices? If UA is competing with USAir, shouldnt one drop its price if the other one does?

I would like to fly with UA to PHX, but if its cheaper to fly with Cont or USAir, I might as well since I get the miles for it and try to get to 25k status miles.

What do you guys think?

Also, I am thinking about making a mileage run out of this, so if anyone has any good deals let me know, best I found was 12cpm
