Thank you and keep us posted.
Yes, yes of course, and yes.

To be more specific, the suites have been much harder to secure over the last several years. As far back as I can remember, I have gotten a remodeled jr suite, which is perfectly fine with me. Just as with the other BKK properties, if I don't book many days in advance, my chances for a suite decrease. If not a suite, they have an awesome Exec Fl deluxe room. Small, but a GREAT room. Of course, all rooms face the river.

The typical amenites, welcome drink, fruit plate, chocolate elephant, and lots of water come standard. Then they have the extra amenities for returning guests, which I think was explained in detail earlier in the thread.

I've NEVER felt that the rooms were in dire need of renovations. In fact, I'd choose an un-renovated suite everytime , even if this was the only option for Plats. Of course, the renovated ones are nice. The 'real suites' have changed the layout with the renos, which took away one of the bathrooms, IIRC, but still a good solid suite/room/bed.

And, to top it off, the service at this hotel is always second to none. The lounge offerings are always great. A warning for Plats though... on holiday periods of high demand, when the hotel is really full, I find it too busy and the staff too occupied. (Same feeling I get at the SGS when it's really busy) This is the last hotel I would stay at on New Years Eve. Why? Because everyone else is here. I would however, recommend it for most every other night of the year.

ROS is always a winner in my books ^^
