McLean's separates the schools with medical programs (usually the top tier) from those with Comprehensive (graduate) programs and undergraduate universities. IN 2009, they ranked Windsor as #8 in the Comprehensive category, which seems to be a fair ranking. Of note, they now have a medical school, so they are expanding the University and their standing has been improving scholastically.

I would place Windsor in the Tier 2 of top schools, with the biggies UofT, UBC, McGill, Laval, UofA Dalhousie, UOttawa, St John's, UWO, Queen's and UVic. Windsor would follow in the next grouping of schools. If you consider the US News ranking of American colleges, I would suggest it would be in the upper ranks of regional universities.

They do have a moderate International collective, mostly from Asia.

Of their specialty programs, they do have a dual JD program with the University of Detroit, which has been going on for a while. I believe their MBA program may have similar joint programs.

But before we argue the ranking of the top 10 - most would agree Windsor doesn't make the cut*

*The above comment doesn't exclude the fact that there could be a specific industry or area where that program may be strong that is of interest to the OP.
