An interesting thread, this one. Whenever events happen in an airplane that involve one party accusing another of illegal behavior, most countries have an investigation, cursory or otherwise, when the aircraft lands. Some people always object to that action, whether in the US, Brazil or any other place. I cannot argue with the appropriateness of briefly 'detaining' all parties. The question is often whether the questioning is being 'detained' or something else. That definition seems to vary according to the country.
Most of the posts in this thread seem less histrionic than are many posts in other analogous situations. Are FTers somehow becoming more reasoned and judicious in their posting? Maybe so.
