We must have different definitions of fraud. Clearly violating the terms of the offer, and the terms of the program, in order to accrue miles in an account that were not earned by that account - how exactly is that not fraud?
deceit, trickery, sharp practice, or breach of confidence, perpetrated for profit or to gain some unfair or dishonest advantage.
Gaming the system is working within the rules to maximize your benefit. I don't subscribe to the "it's not cheating unless you get caught" philosophy.
