Unfortunately, the club room I booked I prepaid as they were giving a 35% discount. I put a high value on my points, so it was actually cheaper to book the room at the prepaid cash rate than it was to use C&P and pay the 1500 points to upgrade.

I thought it was 500 points per stay? Could you elaborate on how you get 5000 extra points?

It is. In total, we'll have 34 nights in the A/P region. Unfortunately, it's a little late to make major changes to the trip, way too much of the logistics is firmed up. Sorta has to be at this point when you're traveling during peak periods. The non-SPG places we're staying either don't have SPG Properties (Ko Phi Phi) or the location is poor (Bali). I don't think anyone would advocate that we spend 10 days in Nusa Dua...
