I would not count on it. It looks to me that you get an upgrade to the next level now, but still need to qualify for next year based on level miles. That explains why Platinum's are excluded from this promotion. This means you will go to Platinum this year, but without the 70K in level miles, you will get another soft landing to Gold next year - which is still better than Silver.
But I am guessing because there are no conditions given in the promotion, it is only in Italian and the promotion no longer shows on the AF-Italy home page. I have to say I have had conflicting information from the FB desk here in Italy so I am a bit sceptical...... But really look forward to the posts of FFers being upgraded - it will show the usefulness of FT ^^
