I did a quick search and couldn't find the posts I wanted, but I know we have heard of TSA having to log "reasons" for opting-out in the recent past. I believe I recall one FTer suggesting "Because I can" as his/her reason.

First time i've heard of this. They've been pushing AIT for months....and now all of a sudden they are concerned about why ppl are opting out. Why wouldn't they be keeping track since the inception of the NoS. This seems like just another way to placate the masses and make ppl feel like their voice matters.
