For the last strike, I incurred a change fee because I wanted to do the change several days before the day of the strike and before AF had finalized their flight schedule. I would say it is a small price to pay in comparison with spending the day at the airport to see whether your flight will be cancelled at the last minute.
Thanks JOUY31 I would do that indeed but my ticket in the outbound is non-changeable. I guess I have to study the alternatives (namely AZ/DL from Italy blargh) and wait for the eve to call the premium line.
