That assumes that the gate agents won't have any ability to modify the upgrade list, even with electronic certs. I would certainly welcome screens similar to UA where you can see where you are on the upgrade list.

Many people on the forum would argue that the reason AC has a good quality J product is because they don't give it away for free on a constant basis, and that if you want to sit in J, you should either pay, or use an upgrade certificate.
