I have a reservation to stay at the Doubletree Druid Hills in Atlanta GA later this week. I read a number of very negative reviews on various web sites, including some that indicate the hotel has bed bugs. I trust the folks here at FT more than other web sites. Can anyone provide any inside information? Should I keep the reservation or find an alternative. Logistically, this hotel is exactly where I need to be. Thank you all.

As a FREQUENT mattress hopper in the Atlanta area, I am probably one who left a bad review of this hotel. My issue was on two consecutive stays, about a week apart, I had an issue with absolutely ZERO hot water during the winter when trying to take a morning shower.
The first complaint I filed they blamed it on maintenance and assured me it wouldn't happen again. The second stay, it happened again, and again, they blamed it on some water heater issue that required a part order, blah blah blah..
I havent stayed there since.
