Did you check the tariffs, and make sure in your complaint to the CTA that you documented a clear violation of the tariffs? If not, you are losing your time and theirs. (Reading through your article, I am not sure that I see a basis for a complaint.)
That it took them 24 hours to get you there is not by itself a violation. Neither that information may have been sparse or inexistent, or even poor or terrible service.
You also should be aware that they have no obligation to provide compensation in cases of delays due to weather.
If you fly enough, you will encounter this sort of situation once in a while.
This sort of experience is frustrating, but I for one would rather not see an airline take a chance in poor weather.
