this is not a trivial issue, as AA has terminated club reciprocal agreements in the past-- most recently with US Airways.
the more interesting question as relates to this whole scheme is how its ingenuity bears the seeds of its undoing, the more successful it becomes. Absolutely, if "too many" QF club holders start turning up at AA clubs, you can bet the link will be shut off as quickly as contractually possible. while I doubt 10 of y'all is "too many", 50 or 100 might well be...
