I was trying to retrospectively upgrade with miles. However, I found this a little later in the Ultimate Guide, under
Spending Miles
You can only upgrade from Economy to WT+ if your ticket is a Y B H fare. You CANNOT upgrade from a cheapy economy fare to WT+
Oh well, I've bagged 28J and 51J - that'll teach me..!
