As long as I-class is available for your flight, you can book a cheapo Y ticket in the 99% certainty that Manage My Booking will let you upgrade to CE for GBP 60-125 each way depending on route and departure airport. (At least, you can with a one-night stop or a one-way which is what I always do ... presumably works the same for same-day return).
