we (MR Plat) had a one night stay last month using a free night and during check-in, were told that unfortunately there were no suites available but that they had assigned us a deluxe room. I probed a bit to see if he could find something given that we were only there for one night. He went in to consult his manager and assigned us the VP suite, which was a huge suite with 1 and 1/2 bathrooms, very large living/dining area and probably the best view. Nice Plat amenity also of a 1/2 bottle of wine and a small cheese platter.
All the staff that we dealt with were very friendly and very helpful in arranging a rental car pick up for us. Would definitely go back if I were in the area again
