I think that the thing that surprises me most is all this concern when from what I gather no dress code has been stipulated. I am minded that the invitation will have been made asking for the pleasure of the company and you are presumably invited because you are a BA customer? You are not there to impress but - hopefully be impressed.
My own view is that this will to some extent depend upon the weather but I would have recommended a suit that fits a white shirt and tie. Always looks good. Other than that Blazer and grey trousers if it is really hot.
I am amazed in this day and age at all these Etiquette and Dress Code threads as I thought that a lot of this had gone way out of the window.
