Usually the 'web errors' tend to clear within a day - I'm starting to wonder if this is going to be a new policy. If so I'm sure many of use will be considering future choice hotel activity. I just set up a parallel points reservation to my next vacation stay. If this doesn't clear up I'll cancel the paid one and start looking to burn off my balance. If I can't earn points then its time burn the balance off.
Again, to clarify: I can only get it to work for one reservation at a time, only by
signing out and then signing back in. No,
not closing the window and signing back in,
not getting the "timed out warning" and signing back in, but
only if I click on Sign Out and then sign back in (and the type my SOS code in again and confirm it again).
If this is it how it works, I see no indication that it's a new policy, and every indication that's it's a nasty website problem.
And while it'd be great to not have to keep using this workaround forever, keep in mind that their other nasty website bug (if you time out and sign back in, and search an SOS or even AAA rate, when you go to see rooms, it'll log you out every time and say you're inelgible for that rate, if you didn't clear the comfortinn.com or qualityinn.com or whatever cookie
right before doing that) has been going on for
over a year! It makes it near impossible for people who don't know how to clear cookies to make reservations using
any special rates!
