The amount of time spent is of no significance to me. It's a personal service, nonetheless because it is for me.

Bottom line: I prefer to make my own drink tailored to my personal and changing ratio of booze to water.
I'm pretty sure that if I want my drink tailored to my specifications (as I would have to guess most anyone would), I usually only need ask the person providing the service who, more often than not, takes pleasure and pride in the ability to do it. I can do it myself, but why should I? If someone is there to do it, if they can get it just right, that certainly is worth some bucks to me.
