Hi all,
I submitted a successful BRG claim for 5 November in the SGS in Bangkok.
I received a successful claim email, made a reservation for 5-6 november, and forwarded that reservation # to the claim agent via email as requested.
This reservation still shows on SPG.COM for 5 Nov 2010 - But my credit charge was just charged?
I did a trawl on my pc for anything with the date of 3,4,or 5
Oct and the SGS hotel details - and guess what popped up?
The REPLY email I received confirming my claim actually for some reason indicates that the clerk made a reservation for me for the period 2-5 October 2010

.
The email includes (down the chain) all of my correct reservation details and I still have the actual (unmodified) reservation details which I can confirm is also for the correct details so it is pretty clear (to me) that the SPG clerk simple made an administrative error, and that this is 99% certain to be the cause of the unauthorised charge on my online statement.
My question is - what do I do? - n particular to whom's attention do I bring this? - I have received NO communication of any sort from SPG - just the charge on my card
Also - should I just be content for them to 're-apply' the charge they have already made to the correct date or should I get them to refund, and generally how much of a fuss should I make - I really don't like seeing 'unauthorised' charges on my card - even if in this case I understand how they might have come to occur?
