BOS is the most convenient one (appr 9 am out 10 pm back with an hour in BOS to get a snack at legal seafood) for 5+K miles. LAX-IAD-JFK-LAX is a bit more expensive and requires more time but you can get ps and international C.
BOS via SFO adds miles but I have a serious fear of not clearing on any SFO transcon. BTW 259 to BOS is pretty good usually it's $299 or $279.
