I have an 11-hour connection in LHR, arriving from JFK in the morning and leaving for TLV in the evening. I'm PLAT, with a no-status traveling companion. We're traveling on award tickets in coach.

I think we're eligible for lounges. We're especially hoping to take a shower at one of the lounges upon arrival. Since we're departing on the same day, I'm assuming they will let us in. Is this correct? What is the best lounge for us to use?
