When did BA stop smoking on all flights? I seem to recall that IB stopped around 1997. That was the last time I experienced smoking on an airplane.
strange isnt it, as a smoker I cant think of anything more antisocial, than smoke on a plane, I dont know how the normal non smokers put up with it back then, not to mention the Rabid anti smokers.I have been on smoking flights in the 80's but times change and even I would consider it unacceptable nowadays. As for the ashtrays, I just do what non smokers do in their cars, fill them with sweet wrappers!!
