LH food is excellent in my experience. For a start, the way it is served allows you to mix and match various courses and go back for seconds or thirds with no problems. However, back-catered flights (ie those not leaving from Germany) can be awful, albeit BA has similar issues here at certain stations.

The seats on a 747 are fine as a couple, although if travelling alone I will go for an Airbus with solo seats if possible. Obviously not a patch on a A380 EK suite though!

The ground experience is the best in the world, in my view.

Amenity kit - as far as I remember, LH tends to leave stuff in the bathroom so you can pick up what you want (and take extras if you want, say, more toothbrushes). I am fine with this - you get to a point in your life where you don't need more amenity kits!!

I've got a LH F booked for 11 November, my first in 18 months, and looking forward to it.
