To be serious (and possibly drage the thread back on-topic), I'd agree with HIDDY's assessment of the two products.

LH definitely win on ground service - the pickup and transfer around the airport is excellent. This area is one that I had hoped BA would try to emulate when they moved to T5. The arrival experience in BA F could also be improved along LH's lines.

However, in the air BA wins by miles on the (old F) seat (and privacy - which is a big issue for me). I have not tried new F but the old product was always pretty good IMHO, screen size and AVOD notwithstanding. On LH the side by side seating is really showing its age in F - the only way to get a private single seat in F is to travel on an A330.

LH definitely serve the food at their leisure - glad it's not just me who gets narked about this.

Their inflight wear is a joke as are the amenity kits. BA definitely win there.

LH for me wins on food & drink quality - both in the FCL and the air. CCR wines & drinks do seem a little more 'restrained' but not by much. However BA do have decent dessert wine, which is (surprisingly) not always there on LH.

Having said all that I am happy to fly on either in F (donations of miles gratefully accepted...)
