Thats odd you didn't get an email. I received an email for a flight that changed by two minutes.
I've got several itineraries booked, and I haven't gotten any e-mails for the 5-10 schedule changes that have happened. The largest change was something like 12 minutes, so nothing too big. I did have to click something on the trip page on delta.com saying that I acknowledged the schedule change.
There have been 2 equipment changes (and thus seating changes), and I got e-mails for both of those. A CR7 or CR9 went to a CR2--grumble potential upgrade grumble grumble
