Ya, the flight time was a few mins shy of 2 hrs, and perhaps the FAs had a lot on their hands since it was an oversold flight (they even paid $500 + overnight hotel accommodations + dinner vouchers + a guaranteed first class seat on the morning flight for a VDB...wish I could have taken that!). We were late getting out, and then we were delayed by another 10 mins after boarding was complete because the Georgetown University female lacrosse team was on the flight and there wasn't any carry-on room for all their gear! We ended up getting in around 11 PM, so I didn't expect a meal, but I was salivating at the prospect of a warm baked cookie and it never came. I just felt that the whole plastic snack bag thing was kinda tacky. but no real complaints since it cost me nothing to sit up front.
