I'm in need of some clarification and hoping someone out here knows. I am currently a platinum with Continental.

I'm pretty sure the following are facts but please correct if not:

100K EQMs will get me 4 SWUs.
$30K in spend will hopefully get an invitation for Presidential Platinum but not guaranteed?
These two things are unrelated. If I hit 100K EQMs but spend less than $30k a year then I will not get Presidential Platinum or President's Club (via the Presidential Plus credit card).

By virtue of having Presidential Platinum because upgrades occur 1 day prior than Platinums, it should be "easier" to get an upgrade or you should be higher in the totem pole.

If you are invited to Presidential Platinum and a Lifetime, will your spouse also have this designation?
