I will be flying BOS-LHR-NRT-BOS (excluded intermediate stops for simplicity) next month and want to receive bonus miles for AA's Europe round-trip or Japan round-trip promotions. Will AA give me the bonus for one of these? Could I argue that I am flying a round-trip itinerary to Japan via Europe? Comments please.
