If you qualify for Plat during HSJ and wish to go to CP after that (assuming you can't make the additional HSJ credits for CP) you will need to base your mileage run on the difference between CP and your current mileage, not your current status. So if you have 48k BIS miles and use HSJ to come up to Plat, you would need 52k more BIS miles to make CP, not the 25k level difference between Plat and CP. It is a little confusing but basically making a higher status than your BIS miles reflect, due to any promo, does not lower the requirements for reaching any other status. You still need 100k miles to reach CP without a promo. If you did a buy-up, the price would be based on your BIS miles and not your status level.
