benoit, at no point am I complaining an aa.com fare doesn't get me miles. I'm complaining that no-one told me I wouldn't get miles/status from the fare they upgraded me to. terenz, when I checked in my ticket said Q class. Consolidator fares were available at £100 less than the £442 I paid AA on the given websites at the time. I didn't know AA could even sell a consolidator fare, but more pertinently I didn't know AA central reservations could sell a fare that doesn't attract miles or status.
