Have to disagree there. Every time I have seen a thread on FT about TSA lines, MCO is always up there as one of the worst. 50 or so gates, and 1 check-point. It's just a product of what was a good design pre-9/11, not being very efficient anymore. Not to mention, there are always a lot of not-so-expert travelers.

That being said, I think 60 minutes is fine for a 5:30 flight. Just remember that MCO has a 45 minute cut off time for checked baggage, if you end up doing that.
