I will be arriving HKG from Taipei on CX. Will I be able to checkin and get my AC boarding pass at the transfer desk without going through HKG immigration?

Also, will I be able to check my luggage all the way through with CX when I start my trip in Taipei if I show them my AC itineray traveling HKG-YYZ?
