Sadly I tend to agree.
Can't keep playing the "we are here primarily for your safety" card and then bring your 6 year old with you.
Can't even sit in an exit row with a minor child in the same cabin so hard to see how anyone would have approved what the FA was doing.
Also seems very inappropriate to involve the child in the drinks service.
