After adding up my flight miles for the rest of the year... I'm looking to be between 13-15k short of making Platinum Elite this year. (I could always take a short trip somewhere during Christmas or a cheap miles run if I need an extra 1 or 2 k at the end of the year if need be)

I would be flying out of Seattle, my time off is between Dec. 4th and 12th.

Would like to keep Fare $1,000 or lower... have some flexibility here. (Using Continental or Star Alliance Airlines)

Been rolling it around in my head for a few days now.. and am finding deciding on a destination the hardest first step
