Twitter is by its very nature a broadcast medium, the strength of which is providing the most relevant content to the greatest number of users. Tweets such as "Glad to have you on board! @airlineman1 @clearedthetower @skating102 @kevin_white " are of little or no interest to the general viewer (that's what Twitter DM's are perfect for.)
