My mail came Sept 30 for a late October birthday and said :

"*This offer is valid for booking and travel within the month of your birthday only. This discount does not apply to all fares and is subject to other restrictions"

Which means I can't use it. The restrictions do make it unlikely I would ever be able to use it which makes it kind of meaningless.

Maybe they could give birthday miles instead?
