Something like this may also happen when you aren't even flying, but only working at the airport... once upon a time I had been working for Air France when a Concorde visited Stuttgart airport - my task had been taking as many pictures as I could while that bird was parked on the apron. Of course, the airport was quite crowded by sightseers wanting to grab a quick look at that special plane. On my break, I decided to take some more pictures from the visitor's terrace. Wearing casual clothing, being outfitted with an all-area security clearance (and actually wearing it), I was about to make my way to the front of the (quite long) queue at the observation deck when a woman with two smaller children grabbed me from behind (something I really hate) and told me that they would also like to jump the queue (if looks could kill, I wouldn't be here to write about the story...). When I told her that I was actually working at the airport and showed her my security badge, she insisted in me going back to the end of the queue. Not in the mood to argue, I just turned around and made my way on to the visitor's deck, intensely being sworn at by that "lady".
