I flew the IST-NRT route this July on the 777. Service was great and I loved the Suites. From what I have read they are notorious for swapping to an Airbus. We had the hotel call a few days ahead and got the car service. I used US miles and was still eligible for it. They picked us up in a Mercedes van. The other passenger by me said ge got an S class. It's funny, all 4 people in FC were 1) Flyertalkers and 2) using US Miles!

The departure was seamless. The driver radioed ahead. There was a uniformed primeclass agent waiting as we pulled up. They wrapped all luggage in plastic for free. We were escorted to a reserved table in the lounge via golf cart. Got some strange looks but enjoyed the experience.
