You will have no problems using your OW Sapphire Status with EI - I am AA Plt and use EI all the time. Yes check-in at the EI Premier/Gold Circle counter, yes use EI lounges in DUB and LHR and pre-boarding with J pax.

In LHR I always use the BA domestic Terminal one lounge - even when flying EI. So much nicer, showers, views. EI LHR lounge has no food, no windows. Never had a problem getting in with AA PLT.

Remember the 'must be flying int' is only an AA rule.
