t-storms lately is sort of an understatement right now

several main roads are shutdown or have 'controlled pass'? (you know, cops and you have to slow down to a crawl to pass areas that have recent landslides etc)

there are two 'tourist' things downtown san jose so I would pass on that for now if you have to

with those two things mentioned I would just head to arenal /its waterfall and the hot springs in the same area and make that your 'theme' for this trip....I am saying that because getting to and back from Arenal may take longer than usual with the rain/road conditions
