AA had 5 abreast seating in F on the 763, and has 5 abreast F on the 762. I agree, the AA 763 J seats are a bit narrow, but the recline now is much improved. (Doesn't help if you're also a 'widebody'!)
Also, note the newly delivery aircraft (342-349) are fitted with the new Boeing interior, which is much nicer than that found on the older (351-399) aircraft.
