I too was charged for fuel on a rental out of DTW on 9/18. In addition to the fuel charge my coupon was not properly credited. No one was there to take the car in so I just left it (yes, I should be more dilligent, though I should be able to trust them to run things right). Very simple call, no argument on my part and the rep I spoke with on the phone was also able to see the $10 AAA coupon that I had on the reservation which wasn't properly credited to me.

Five minutes time and I ended up with a $73 credit on my one day rental of a Corolla. Should I have had to take these steps? No. But at least it didn't take much more effort on my part.
