You can cancel your CR-1 upgrade, but to do it ahead of time your original fare bucket must be available. Once you cancel your CR-1, you go back on the waitlist in your proper order for UDU - they won't just switch you over because that would be patently unfair. However, if there's NF inventory at the time you cancel your upgrade, you'll re-clear right away.

The waitlist is still there and time added works exactly like it used to (with UDU replacing e-500s). This is where the early CR-1 would have the advantage (as the second tiebreaker) until it goes to the DM list, at which time the time on the DM list is what matters.
