Just started looking for xmas fares and boy, do they seem high.
Last week I booked London to Harrogate for 10 pounds one way for dec. 14th.
A week later on the 21st , London to leeds, goes up to 165 pounds o/w.
Is this the normal Xmas effect.
FWIW, they don't seem to be listing, advanced fares, only,"off-peak fares."
Will "advanced" (cheaper fares) be loaded later or should I take what I can get now?
The best I've come up with is 40 pounds o/w.
