Holding a flight for platnium for an extra minute
I've been a platnium for years and I have never seen such subpar service than I had at EWR last night.
Can someone tell me what the policy is for holding the last flight out for the night? I have never had a problem and Continental has alwways been proactive with platnium customer service, especially at BDL
Lats night I came off of 355 from PBI and was tranfering to 8642 to BDL on Commutair. The flight got in just before 9 at gate 74 and I asked the agent meeting the flight to call over to 96X and let them know that I would be on 8642 to BDL.
When I got to the gate at 9:01 (flight scheduled to leave at 9:05) the door was hit and they would not open. They did not let me on the flight
In the past a red coat or golf cart would meet a flight of the platnium and make sure the passenger would connect to his destination.
Doesn't Continental have a list of close potential misconnects
Is this is what we can expect with Customer Service given the impending merger?
