Mother in law had gallstones that acted up in Inner Mongolia 2002. Medical care plus medievac to HKG was $9000US before HKG medical bills.

Dad had been paying faithfully for 12 years and recovered all his payment plus more after being in Chile Feb 2010 during the earthquake and a fall in Bermuda tripping over a curb.

Coverages are too much when you are paying for them and too little when you need them
