Since you disregarded cost, I will assume that you are going biz. From recent experience, I enjoyed AF more than DL. I found the DL seat (not the new flat) to be extremely uncomfortable. While the AF seat isn't daisies and roses, it was *a lot* more comfortable for me. The food was pretty comparable, but the nod went to AF. I didn't see an awful lot of difference between them in ground ops.
