They do. Read the terms and conditions for the promo fare if it is a promo fair, and ALWAYS read the fare conditions for all other fares.

It's not PAL's fault if people won't read the fare conditions. At least they tell you clearly that the fare won't earn miles: other airlines (like CZ or CA) don't tell you anything at all except the fare basis.

Again, use the Web form.

I'm not particularly fond of PAL telephone customer service anymore, especially now that they've been outsourced to ePLDT. You're not alone on that one.

Even booking is not done online. The form is tedious and the wait times are awful, but they're bearable if it is not a promo day. The longest I've been in a PAL office on a regular day was one hour in Cubao, and that was because it was almost closing time.

I highly suggest, however, e-mailing PAL at [email protected] for your concerns. Of course, remember that PAL has bigger things to worry about at the moment, like making sure that their flight attendants don't go on strike during the All Saints Day weekend.
